Typical class begins with Qigong warm-ups, then repetition of simple movements that can enhance balance, relaxation and effective movement. Breath is life! During the first hour, Amy Dahan will present simple and natural breathing techniques that optimize the body’s innate ability to sustain itself and heal. You will discover how conscious breathing can affect your moods, metabolism, and body function. During the second hour, Shawn Hearing will lead a group Breath Empowerment. Shawn is certified as a Level 2 Facilitator by the Supreme Science Qigong Center. The Breath Empowerment is an intense and powerful practice that hyper-oxygenates the blood and flushes out blockages better than drugs. Breath Empowerment is a transformation experience. Bring a yoga mat or blanket and bottled water. Empower yourself with every breath! Breath Empowerment has proven safe for tens of thousands who have practiced it, but it is not recommended for pregnant women or people who suffer asthma, seizures or heart problems.

Saturday, March 25, 2017 9:00am – 5:30pm Workshop: Three Treasures and Nine Phases of Qi Cultivation
Participants will learn a form that consists of nine movements, in three phases of three movements each. The phases of Earth, Heart-Mind, and Heaven progressively build awareness of the resources, the choices, and the unlimited potential that is Life. Discussion of the profound “Three Treasures” philosophy, and brief meditations will mix sitting time with standing time.
The registration fee includes lunch, and a beautiful hardcover book, “The Healing Wisdom of Qi” by Dr. Roger Jahnke. The Nine Phases form is extensively detailed in the book, along with philosophy and physiology.

Tuesday, February 21, 2017: Master Ou is Coming!
Master Wenwei Ou will be visiting Stuart, Florida on Tuesday, Feb 21. Master Ou travels and teaches Qigong internationally. He is known as a great Qigong Master, an author, a poet, and a calligrapher. He is the originator of Pangu Shengong (PGSG) and currently serves as the President of the PGSG Int’l Research Institute. He is the vice Chairman of International Health, Fitness, and Longevity Research Institute. He was a council member of the International Medical Qigong Association and the former Director of the Qigong Science Research Institute of Guangzhou University in China. Master Ou speaks Cantonese and will give lectures during the workshop with the assistance of a translator.
After intensively studying ancient Chinese methods of preserving health, Master Ou created Pangu Shengong(PGSG) to enable practitioners to absorb the life force of the universe and to temper and improve their own life force and immune system. PGSG is based on the physiology of the human body and the miraculous relationship between man and nature. PGSG has successfully assisted many individuals with ailments such as a cancer, heart disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, apoplexy, lupus, and other conditions.

Hailed by Teddy Roosevelt as “the most American thing in America”, chautauquas were a popular form of mass education and entertainment in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They celebrated education and culture, featuring music, lectures, demonstrations, performance, and sermons.
