Tai Chi Easy – Fort Pierce – Fridays 10AM
Practice group meeting indoors at Unity of Fort Pierce, 3414 Sunrise Blvd., Fort Pierce, FL 34982. $10 for drop-ins, $40 for six weeks. Practice Leader Amy Dahan.
Tai Chi Easy is a program that removes barriers to learning. Many beginners are frustrated by the complexity of classical Tai Chi forms, and quit before they can gain the immense benefits of practice. Tai Chi Easy was developed to make those benefits available to everyone – even those with disabilities. The Beginner’s Tai Chi Easy practice can be done sitting or standing, and focuses on relaxation, deep breathing, and learning the arm movements. Advanced Tai Chi Easy adds the footwork and stepping methods that will increase balance and brain plasticity. Tai Chi Easy is derived from the major Tai Chi family styles, and utilizes the principles of the Tai Chi Classics.
